Project - Heritage Reimagined: A South Indian Residential Interior

This project is our attempt to create a space with the seamless fusion of past and present, where ancestral heritage meets contemporary design. It stands as a unique representation of South Indian culture and modern living, providing a home that is both functional and profoundly personal.
Design Concept - The core design philosophy revolves around the integration of earthy, natural elements and a warm color palette, dominated by wood and beige tones.
Ancestral Elements - A standout feature of this project is the incorporation of elements from the client's ancestral South Indian house. These cherished pieces have been meticulously restored and repurposed, serving as statement interior elements that imbue the space with history and personal significance. From intricately carved wooden panels to traditional door frames, these components have been taken apart and then seamlessly integrated into the layout. These strategically placed elements act as focal points , drawing the eye and creating a narrative within the space which echoes the past while catering to the needs of modern living.
For the bedrooms, we shifted to softer, more tranquil tones — offering the couple a quiet retreat. Every room was designed to echo their lifestyle and energy, making the home both deeply personal and full of character.-->
